Registered chiropodists (also known as podiatrists) are trained in all aspects of care for the feet and lower limbs, including the most common foot problems.
At Castle Hill Clinic we offer treatments for:
Corns and calluses, removal of hard skin; Verrucae and warts; Nail conditions; Ingrowing toenails; Athlete’s Foot; Bunions; Plantar Fasciitis; Metatarsalgia; Any other problematic foot conditions
Treatments offered:
General Footcare: Corn and callus removal as well as nail cutting, filing and a foot massage all form part of general footcare at Castle Hill.
Cryosurgery: This is a freezing technique which treats warts and verrucae and other conditions, usually without scarring. Verrucae and warts are treated very successfully with this technique with the added benefit of stimulation of the immune system.
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT): LLLT is a safe method of treating many conditions without any side effects and has minimal contraindications. It does not have any damaging thermal effects and increases repair in acute injuries as well as stimulating the body’s repair processes i.e. non- healing, chronic conditions.
LLLT treats: Circulation problems; Neuropathies; Verrucae and warts; Corns and cracks; Arthritic conditions; Metatarsalgia, including Mortons neuroma; Plantar Fasciitis; Tendonitis; Sports injuries; Pain in the lower limb and feet; Skin conditions
