Redhatch Acupuncture provides acupuncture services (acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, Tui-na massage, life style advice an many others ) to clients within the local Reading area.

Redhatch Acupuncture practices a holistic form of treatment, in which the practitioner works with the Reading patient to develop an individual plan, to treat not only the symptoms and conditions but also the Mind, Body and Spirit. Holistic treatment are available for a wide range of conditions.

As an acupuncturist and health care practitioner my aim is to help patients overcome their health condition(s), and provide them with necessary tools and guidance to be able to engage in their own healing process.

Health is more than the absence of disease; it is a state of conscious living focused on the wellness of the mind, body, and spirit. To that end I work to educate and empower Reading individuals to be an active partner in their own healing.

I graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, where I studied under the supervision of some of the leading acupuncturists in Europe.

I enjoy helping people create a wellness plan for their lives that will improve their overall health while supporting their healing process in a particular health issue. In my Reading practice I value spending quality time with each patient and give each person my full attention and concentration.

About us:

The acupuncture practice provides treatment for individuals throughout Reading and Berkshire. The practice is run by Andrew Hanson (within the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine) who uses his experienced knowledge to treat patients with many conditions ranging from fertility and emotional problems (stress), to back pain and sports injury.

Acupuncture treatment is aimed at supporting the movement of energy around the body (through channels known as meridians) and therefore because energy has an influence on all organs and systems, it is widely believed that acupuncture can be beneficial for a wide range of medical complaints. These can vary from clearly defined complaints to more general symptoms with unexplained causes.

The Acupuncture Practice is run by Andrew Hanson who trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. Having previously studied a BSc (Hons) Biology, Andrew decided to pursue the study and practice of acupuncture and as a result, also hold a BSc (Hons) Acupuncture from Kingston University.

For four years, Andrew trained in a combined discipline of acupuncture that draws on the strengths of both Five Element and TCM doctrines. This integrated approach enables Andrew to support patients on both a physical and mental emotional level. As a general practitioner Andrew treats people with a diverse range of conditions. His specialist interest are in treating infertility (IVF), emotional difficulties and back pain.
