With many years experience in the food and drink industry, Running Plum Catering is a small Reading business, offering an individual catering approach to customers throughout the local area.
Fiona McQuay is a passionate, enthusiastic chef with extensive experience within the hospitality industry, working on shoot weekends, villas and holiday homes across the UK and Europe, corporate offices, charity balls, team building, chalets and public sector events. With many cookery courses and working in 5* restaurants under her belt she’s taken the best aspects of all forms of food and entertaining and created her own unique catering company. She’s spent a lot of time travelling and tasting the various continents and believes that inspiration should be taken from all corners of the globe.
Fiona and her Reading team are thoroughly professional and relish the challenge of preparing delicious, creative food regardless of the destination or facilities at hand!
She prides herself on the clients? individual requirements, and enjoys meeting you in person, without obligation, to discuss your needs and ideas to make your event a true success.
The Reading company offers a tailored catering service to customers, which is created to ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible. With a small but professional team, the business also has a flexible menu service that will cater for all tastes allowing customers to sit back and enjoy their evening.
The company is able to offer reliable staff and equipment, including waiting staff. A family run business, the services offered are designed for all kinds of budgets and can meet prior to the event to discuss preferences. The majority of the food is locally sourced using fruits and vegetables available from the season.
