Farm View Day Nursery

Farm View Day Nursery

Reading, Berkshire ~ Childcare
An independent nursery group set in a rural location south of Reading.

About us:

We are open for 51 weeks of the year from 7.30am until 6.00pm, and are able to offer full time and sessional care for babies and children from 6 months to 5 years at our two settings, Farm View and Meadow View.

Our Nursery prides itself on offering outstanding childcare, and 85% of our staff hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 qualification.

The Nursery is OFSTED registered and operates the EYFS programme to the highest standards.

Farm View Day Nursery first opened in May 1996, providing quality care and education for children aged 6 months to 5 years. In 1999 our sister Nursery, Meadow View, opened to care for the older children. Here at Farm View we now cater purely for the younger children aged from 6 months to 3 years.

We are situated in a wonderful rural location, south of Reading, and housed in a converted Farmhouse. We have a spacious garden, divided into two sections in order to allow babies to sleep outside undisturbed while the older children play.

We provide a caring, secure and happy environment in which the children can develop and progress at their own pace. We treat each child as an individual with their own needs and encourage them to develop their own personality and independence.

Farm View promotes good manners and social skills, teaching the children right from wrong. This instils confidence and self esteem, and enables the children to participate in a wide variety of nursery activities, including music and dance, role play, imaginative play, art and craft and sensory activities.

We promote Equal Opportunities regardless of gender, race, culture or language.

Our most important goal is to ensure that every child is happy in a loving and fun environment.

Meadow View provides a caring, secure and happy environment in which your child can flourish socially, physically and emotionally. We allow each child to reach their full potential and treat them as individuals with individual needs. We encourage good manners and social skills and teach the children right from wrong.

Our most important aim is to ensure that each child is happy and that they enjoy their time at Nursery in loving and fun surroundings. Our goal is to send our children to school as rounded individuals with their own personality and a sense of independence, which will stand them in good stead as they move on through the educational system.
