About us:

Street Feet Dance is a dance project based in Reading, serving local communities in and around the Berkshire area.

Street Dance is an increasingly popular form of activity among children, young people and adults alike. Incorporating a range of dance styles including Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, Locking, Popping and Lyrical, Street Dance can help to improve stamina, fitness, strength and coordination, whilst developing one’s self-esteem, sense of rhythm and creative expression through powerful movements to music. Street Feet Dance choreography incorporates a unique blend of world dance styles and Street.

Street Feet Dance provides dance workshops for schools, youth groups and community organisations, as well as bespoke choreography for children’s birthday party dance classes, Hen/Stag/Hag party dance classes and corporate events. Regular Street Dance classes are also available in the local area.

‘Mini Feet’ for 3-6 year olds, Thursdays 4-4.45pm
‘Little Street Feet’ for 7-11 year olds, Thursdays 5-5.45pm

Street Dance classes are also available for adults and teens

Professional dance studios offering dance classes of all styles to children and adults.

Dance Reality Studios based in Tilehurst offers classes of all styles to all ages and abilities.

The facilites offer 2 professional mirrored studios, lounge/coffee area and dancewear shop.

The Studios employs in excess of 12 teachers all fully trained and highly experienced in their chosen style. The Studios offers classes ranging from Ballet to Hip Hop and Salsa to Cheerleading. The Studios offer many Musical Theatre and Performing Arts schools as well as a high standard in Street and Ballroom and Latin.

The Studios is also the base for the international and UKs Dance Reality performance group who perform at various location and events throughout country and abroad. The Studios is a very friendly and inviting place and can cater for all ages and abilities.

Allied Schools of Dance has a national reputation for producing well-trained students, with a love of dance. This was recognised by the Director of the British Ballet Organisation, who offered three pupils from the school, ballet scholarships to study with ex-professional ballerina Miss Brenda Last.

A Dance School providing classes in Street Dance, Singing, Drama, Tap, Musical Theatre and Ballet

About us:

Louise set up Starlet Dance School in 2002 in an effort to fill the gap in the market by setting up a more individual school with input from pupils and the emphasis on fun and enjoyment.

The school has gone from strength to strength and grown considerably over the last few years.

Starlet has contacts with local Theatre companies and is often approached for auditions. Many of the children have performed in a variety of events from Local Productions to Fashion Shows to Reading Football Club.

The school does encourage the children to audition but this is entirely optional.

The school performs an annual summer show to demonstrate its talents in a Professional Theatre. At the end of the performance there is a presentation of Medals and Trophies.

Our main aims at Starlet, are to build confidence and to encourage the children.

About us:

The Daphne Bennett School of Dancing provides expert theatre and dance tuition in several branches including Mortimer, Burghfield Common, Lower Earley, Tilehurst, Silchester, Tadley and Thatcham. Ages range from 2 ½ years to Adults.

With our highly qualified teaching team, the school has acquired enormous knowledge and expertise over 39 years which is passed on to our pupils. The classes are held in small friendly groups with individual attention given to each child. A free trial class is offered to all prospective pupils.
