About us:

We are an independent firm of funeral directors and monumental masons who opened in Woodley in 2006 with entirely refurbished premises, serving the residents of all local areas.

Managed by Colin Bennell, a Funeral Director with over 19 years of local experience, we offer traditional funerals as well as horse-drawn hearses, motorcycle hearse, designer coffins and environmentally-friendly funerals, including wicker, bamboo and pine coffins, as well as woodland burials.

Funeral arrangements may be made in our office or, alternatively, we are always happy to travel, for no additional charge, and make all arrangements in the comfort of your own home.

We also offer pre-paid funeral plans, thereby ensuring secure financial provision is made for your funeral. More recently, we have begun making ‘pre-need’ arrangements, whereby, by stating to us the form that you would wish your funeral to take, including the type of service, music and readings, etc., you remove the uncertainty that is commonly faced when a loved one passes away. The cost of the funeral can then be paid from your estate or by your family in the usual way when the time comes.
