About us:
Founded 40 years ago and celebrating it’s Ruby Anniverary in 2009, Slimming World is a network of warm and friendly groups run by highly trained Consultants who care enormously about the success and wellbeing of every member. It is a support system which has been designed to make slimming easier and more enjoyable than one ever thought possible, without setting impossible standards or through humiliation. It is achieved with warmth, empathy, respect and support for every member.
The groups at Tyndale Baptist Church in Whitley, Reading are run by Nicki on Wednesdays at 9.30am and 7.00pm. Call for info or just turn up.
Food Optimising is a healthy eating plan, too generous to be called a diet. Slimming World’s famous free food lists include hundreds of everyday, healthy, satisfying foods that are completely unlimited. There is no need to weigh, count, measure or calculate. Members can eat as much Free Food as they like, when they like, to satisfy their appetite.
No food is banned – favourite foods can be enjoyed every single day and still lose weight.
Pregnant ladies are welcome at group with the consent of their midwife, as are men, who love the generous eating plan.

And because children are experiencing weight-related problems at an earlier age, Slimming World have created a special membership and healthy eating plan that’s free of charge for 11-15 year olds.
