Karate Classes for adults and children

About us:

We teach traditional Shotokan Karate to adults and children in Woodley (Reading), Windsor, Maidenhead and Burnham (Slough).

Practicing Karate can help to improve overall physical fitness, agility, coordination, flexibility, concentration, self discipline and self-esteem.

All clubs are run by a qualified black belt instructor who is first aid trained and CRB checked.

Beginners are always welcome regardless of their current fitness level. Please give us a call or email for more information.

Rugby Club

About us:

Redingensians RFC was the first rugby club in Berkshire to be awarded the RFU Seal of Approval, reflecting the club’s commitment to community sport and sport for all. In addition, the club has won several awards for its work in the community, and it is Wokingham Borough Council’s partner rugby club.

However, this friendly ethos has not prevented the club from being very successful. It is the only club in the county running five adult teams, and the youth section is the biggest and most successful in the area.

The first team will play in South West 1 next season, with the second and third team also playing in the RFU league structure. The fourth and fifth team both play in the Thames Valley leagues. Under 13s to Under 16s compete in the Berkshire Youth leagues, and the U17s and Colts play in the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire leagues, and thence into the National Knockout competition.

Children in school years 1 - 7 train and play on Sunday mornings starting at 10.00. Those in school years 8 - 13 train on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings starting at 19.00, and play matches on Sunday mornings or afternoons.

About us:

Our emphasis on enjoyment and involvement has been the touchstone of our club since we set up home at Rosehill in 1971. We are justly proud that the ground and substantial facilities are all ours, established by our members efforts. The club is very much a reflection of the local community - we have excellent players in our 1st XV, we have great social players in the lower teams and that sets the pattern throughout the club. We run four senior XVs, a Colts section and youth teams at every age from 6 upwards. There is a place for everyone.
