Glendale Surveyors are Chartered and Technical Surveyors operating in and around the Reading area. We specialise in residential surveys, valuation and energy performance certificates as well as providing commercial EPCs, property consultancy, insurance calculations and more.

Our services include:

Building Surveys: this is the most detailed type of report available and is particularly suitable for individual properties, including large, extended or older buildings. The report includes full details of all visible elements of the building and items of disrepair and defect. It also includes information of the method of construction and likely future repairs. A reinstatement cost for insurance purposes is included, as is a valuation if specifically requested (additional extra).

Homebuyers Report: This is a concise, economy report for more modern homes. It includes comment on all visible sections of the property, highlighting defects. Advice is given in respect of the value of the property taking into account any repairs required. A reinstatement cost for insurance purposes is also included. We would recommend this report as a minimum for all residential purchases.

Valuation: We prepare valuation reports for a number of purposes including: Purchase or sale, capital gains tax, Inheritance tax and probate, matrimonial and family and investment. The valuation does not constitute a survey and therefore defects will not be set out.

Energy Performance Certificates: required for Home Information Packs and rental properties.
